These abundant skies

I had this feeling of not wanting up to wake up today as I broke from unconsciousness. Haven't really had a good sleep for the past few nights for reasons unknown. And eventually figured a way to get to block 29 in toa payoh to distribute mattresses to the less fortunate old folks.

At the end of each distribution as you bring the mattresses, bedsheets and pillows to their homes, I felt "it". Their smiles and words of thanks. It made my day knowing that everything I did was worthwhile, when you weren't expecting anything back in return. It was great seeing everyone, mostly patricians and even other commoners like us coming down serving the community. I see people whom faces I do not even recognize coming from other social organizations helping paint people's homes. This truly was something commendable because hardly you can see youngsters serving the community nowadays.

Such popular humanity is that they are now chasing apathy.

Headed to Mike's place with a bunch of Patricians to just chill out. I swam, finally after ages. And played pool volleyball. It was fun! Before things changed we soon started taking taking "gay" pictures in the water. HAHA. Don't get me wrong. We are STRAIGHT---. We just wanted to have a little bit of memorable fun I guess since we will hardly meet anymore. I might put up some pictures but Im afraid it might be quite obsene haha. Watched a couple of shows back at Mike's house before heading for dinner at "Han's" at parkmall. Bused to wheellock place after that to meet up with Dom and a few others, going for a chat and a drink at starbucks later on before bumming home.

And if you are wondering what song it is that is playing through your speakers as you are viewing my blog,
its 'Learning to breathe' by Switchfoot. A current favourite of mine.

Its late now. And sometimes deep in the night, I picture myself taking a stroll down the middle of the empty road as I look out of the window.

Just listening to the sound of silence. Just breathing the breath of life.

Oh hello good morning, how've you been,
yesterday left my head kicked in .
