Look a(t)round us

Met up with a bunch of lasallians in the morning to go SMU today for this Aids exhibition organized by a friend of Paolo's .

The exhibition was totally different from all other normal ones. Its like you will go through the trail of a person's life to learn more about aids wearing headphones with that exact person describing his/her life to you based on their own true life. Following that persons story I received a stamp on my hand saying I was HIV POSITIVE man. I was thinking if that day ever comes, I so damn screwed. I was thanking God I wasn't that person on my headphones. Its kinda hard to describe the whole process but it was very enriching and new I guess. Wouldn't mind going another time if I ever have friends who would like to go for it. At the end of the trail, theres even a reflection corner for you to reflect. I wrote a note to stick on the wall going out to all aids victims asking them to persevere and not giving up - always bearing hope that the bad times would be over soon and a new life would start for them. We made beads too at the end of it to remind us of everything. Say NO to casual sex! Its a pity not much people take note of the harsh reality of life around us though.

Anyway its at SMU open field area till 3rd of feb. Admission is free! The whole exhibition would take up just 15-20 minutes of your life! So just go for it if you are ever nearby.

Went for lunch and pool after that with some old time Stpats seniors who came along too, for the exhibition. Before kicking off to do some afternoon stuff I had on.

And backed by "popular demand" I think im gonna get a haircut soon. Edmund and quite a few others said that me in longer hair looks weird. Zhiqin, my junior didnt even recognized me when I bumped into him. Wahaha. Time to part with some cash to get rid of some hair man haha.

Results would be out on thursday! Got not much feeling about it though. Im just waiting to move on with my new life after that.

This is all for now. Teehee.
