A YEAR IN THE PAST, FOREVER IN THE FUTURE

so this is the first post of 2009.

i spent the countdown at east coast park along with my patrician buddies, mr ng and miss karen. the whole thing was just super dupa lengendary, just when i thought this year would suck loads. it came out good. real good.

and the lights and sounds at 12 midnight is the friendly reminder of the new year from where we were. ships sounded their horns and shot up flares. clanking of crystals and explosions off in the distance. images and records you see and hear only once every 365 days. classic.

we popped sparkling juice instead of champagnes and wine. booze are bad for health ya know. and we played with sparklers like we were kids! the starshine, flarelights and sparklights just illuminate the sky. waves of crowds and tents. music from radios and guitars just drown out the night.

then headed back to st pats to bum out at the shamrock cove in the wee hours of the first morning. and the first activity i did of the year was to DOTA! hahah. been ages since i played warcraft. hanged out till 6am before heading off home.

but anyway 2008 has been a pretty much of a "more downs and less ups" year for me. i watched myself made some mistakes which i wished i could take back. but hell, im super glad 2009 is now here to take over. please make it so damn good.

and new year resolutions? prolly to ride a flying pig.
