THE FEEL GOOD DRAG
Tomorrow is officially the start of the holidays. the first half of the week has been hectic. fought the war against the mid semester tests and like human, i screwed up here and there. no regrets, i did my best. got back my results for my astronomy test which i took about a couple of weeks ago. remember how i said, that i screwed up...
but when i saw the truth laid across the computer screen...
i studied the day before and by some weird cosmic reason, i did pretty well. apparently better than my nerd friend who told me he studied weeks ahead.
man, WHAT A JOKE.
anyway i came up with a list of things which i have and wish to do for the holidays. from the way i see it, i think its more work than fun.
here are my things-to-do for the holidays list:
- learn a guitar solo
- read a book
- learn how to fold paper stars
- complete my CAD assignment
- complete my IDEA project
- complete my oral communication project
- do my astronomy quiz on telescopes
- do my math homework
- write a song
- watch a movie
- catching up with old buddies
- batam trip?
by the way, i think its about time i go do some exercise too. running. swimming. ya know all that stuff.
dang,
most of the things i listed don't sound very good.
i always felt that life is but a race. and your just a runner along with the millions going through the same distance. you might think, a race for the finish line? maybe. some would think that way. but i'd prefer not to think it that way if possible. its about breathing in, the energy, the feeling and exhilaration along the way. the people you meet and the situations you face. faith determination breathlessness panic fear love, these are what makes life's race beautiful.
then you think again, does being first really matter?
i just do not want to cross the finish line not knowing what happened along the way.
i do not want to set my eyes straight.
i wish to see.
to feel h u m a n.
more than ever.
