Today, i went to a place where i have never expected myself to enter yet again, since a year and the half back - Chij St Nicholas Girl's.
A funfair was held there today and i went there with a couple of peeps - Edmund, Mike, kj, Sean and Eileen. And i must say that it has been a rather eventful saturday. But i could have sworn that those things that the girls sold were freaking expensive. 2 bucks for a soft drink haha. We didn't get to enter the haunted house due to the f r e a k i n g long queue outside. Mike played para para and damn he was as good as ever. It was quite a sight seeing him shake his body and groove with his hands. I played the last stage for him. But gamed over in like what? 20 seconds. argh i suck! Or rather the faulty sensor haha. I ate candy floss for the first time since a trillion zillion years back. And i must admit eating that really made me felt like a kid once again. a happy one. and the taste - still as sweet as ever =)
After that, we pooled whatever amount of coupons we still had and played this game. Objective: Throw rings and ensure that either one is able to loop around the top of a bottle amongst the many. It was 5 bucks a game. We were given 10 rings for each game. Played 3 games in total. And hell, it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. Some bottles were actually coloured. There were those ordinary ones, orange ones and the white one. Only one of the white which was the Grand prize: the biggest soft toy! And i was talking to one of the primary school girls who was running the stall.
Me: Excuse me. So how many people managed to get their rings into the white bottle so far?
Girl: Er... i think 4 or 5.
Me: Okay. Eh you wait and see ah. Im gonna be the 6th one! hahaha
Girl: haha yeah right
*stares at her*
Me: Eh wahlao, don't say until lidat lah. Must show some support man. haha
This was just before we played the first game actually. and we didnt even get a single one in. Then just before played the 2nd and 3rd game together. There was this lady who was also mending the stall told us this...
Lady: There are no rules to this game. Just try to get one of the rings onto one of these bottles. If its meant to be yours, it will be yours =)
She was so damn right but hell yeah, i got one of the rings in. Into the orange one. Got a soft toy. And i gave it to eileen =) why the hell would i need a soft toy for?! hahaha. But i must admit that it was fun though at the expense of quite some amount of cash.
Went for the closing ceremony after that. There was this cheerleading performance by the cheerleaders who strutted their stuff. and dude, we all were wowed by it. not because they were hot or anything. Though i must say that they wore abit tat too skimpily haha. but it definitely wasn't easy doing those actions. Mike was busy taking video of that performance hahaha. Bet he loved it. and the tons of guys out there too. Everything ended on a nice note though there were some heavy rain earlier on :)
Kaijun and Mike left first. While me and the rest went to chill out at the arcade for awhile. Went for dinner after that then trained home with Edmund. The rest went to catch a movie. And on the way home we had quite alot to talk about. about life, school, love and stuff.
And this was how today went for me...
Should i go for soccer tomorrow morning? hmm.
