SO LONG SO LONG

peak hour.

arms at 90 degrees, holding on to circular Grey bars which never seem to come to a complete end, it just goes on. everyone standing up were doing the same too, but he knew what he was looking for - exactly what the lady to his right was eyeing for. the bus halted to a stop, a clean way was paved, he walked up towards the one and only seat of the last row and sat, the lady was right up behind him and she knew she had already lost when he saw what the boy had done. he smiles. he had just took which many commuters find a prize during hours like these - a seat.

wheels in motion.

then a complete halt. people alight and new strangers onboard. and so he saw that lady took to a seat - good for her. he observes, a man in his sixties, white haired but dressed up in a office suit with a brown leather back, walking towards his direction and finally resting on the seat beside him. he takes a quick glimpse at todays paper before retrieving something from his bag. the boy finds him vaguely familiar, as if he as seen him somewhere before. probably a calefare on some teevee shows he thinks.

but still, whats there to see?

that boy turns towards his ipod and decides to focus on his music anyway. the next time he turned to his side, that old man already has an electronic gadget in his hands, on the screen displayed "snake" in capital big letters. he remembers that game. he played it when he was younger... when his phone has that application. the old man goes on it, and is pretty good too. the boy is surprised.

time travels along with us.

the old man looks up and wonders where the carriage has taken him now, his snake dies, the boy chuckle cause it happened... more than once. it is time, the boy alights. but one final glimpse, the elder still has one out of the five lives which the digital world has given to his snake. and presses on. that man is still much too young for his age. and then he is gone. 10m...20m...30m... and then out of sight to your back.

people come and go.

fleeting memories from time to time. about the past, friendships and relationships. and fantasies about the future, as if they would come true. i dont know what to say though about them because every moment comes only once and no matter how you try to find another moment exactly the same... the truth is that you can never replicate it. Growing up is really something that put our souls to the test.
